Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store maintains a clean and inviting environment for our customers. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with fellow team members, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and monitor accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Follow established company policies while ensuring data security and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and various store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to uphold company standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
