Job Description
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a 1st Shift Warehouse Entry Level employee at Aldi. You will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products efficiently to our stores. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, starting at $23.75 per hour. As part of our warehouse team, you will work in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, ensuring that our products are handled with care and precision.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately and fulfill store orders efficiently.
- Organize and relocate merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
- Load and unload merchandise for shipment and perform general cleaning duties.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.
- Operate equipment safely and perform tasks accurately within company policies.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrate conscientious behavior, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or in a team environment.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and perform physical tasks throughout the warehouse.
