Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Cashiers/Stockers at ALDI. As a Cashier, you will handle customer transactions and provide exceptional service, while Stockers will ensure our shelves are well-stocked and our store is well-maintained. Both roles require teamwork, attention to detail, and dedication to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Position Type and Compensation
Job Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities
Common Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively.
- Maintain store security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Cashier Responsibilities:
- Process customer purchases and provide exceptional service.
- Stock shelves, clean store, and assist customers.
- Monitor inventory and ensure accurate cash handling.
Stocker Responsibilities:
- Stock and rotate products for freshness.
- Create attractive product displays.
- Operate machinery safely.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to follow company policies and work efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of retail products and operations.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience is accepted.
