Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising and stocking product, cashiering, general cleaning, and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other operational aspects
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash policies
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain security and confidentiality
• Perform additional assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register
• Safely handle equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
