Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandising displays.
- Provide excellent customer service, assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in monitoring inventory.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures.
- Adhere to company policies with a focus on security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to be employed at ALDI.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning duties and adhere to company standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Aptitude to work independently and within a team setting.
- Organized, detail-oriented, capable of multitasking professionally.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
