Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and collaborating with the ALDI team. This full-time position offers 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies

Requirements

• Be 18 years or older
• Operate a cash register efficiently
• Safely handle equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Have excellent communication skills and work well in a team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Ability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages based on state and local requirements
