Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store facilities, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Offer feedback on products, manage inventory counts, and adhere to cash policies.
• Follow company procedures, maintain document security, and perform assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of meeting physical demands and following company policies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently or in a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent considered.
