Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to ensure an excellent customer shopping experience. Your collaboration with the ALDI team and exceptional customer service will contribute to the success of our store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and other relevant issues to management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures
- Comply with company policies and uphold security and confidentiality standards
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safely operate equipment as needed
- Maintain cleanliness according to company standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Work well independently and in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Prior retail experience (preferred)
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
