Job Description
We are seeking a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Assist in inventory management, including monitoring accuracy and conducting counts.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
