Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Store Operations Assistant to join our ALDI team. As a full-time team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assisting customers throughout their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Conduct store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash policies to prevent losses and uphold company procedures.
• Adhere to security and confidentiality protocols.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task effectively.
• Fulfill any state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Experience combined with education will be considered.
