Athletic Trainer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Athletic Trainer to join Blount Memorial Hospital's Sports Medicine Program. The Athletic Trainer will provide services at various events, monitor athlete progress, and deliver physical therapy care to different age groups under the guidance of a licensed physical therapist. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, offering patient education, and engaging with stakeholders professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assess athletes and monitor progress.
• Provide physical therapy care to diverse populations.
• Participate in comprehensive patient care processes.
• Deliver patient, staff, and community education.

Requirements

• Current Athletic Training license in Tennessee.
• CPR Certification.
• Membership in a professional association recommended.
• Knowledge of growth and development, injury assessment, and treatment methods.
