Dispatcher

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Dispatcher to join RICH TRANSPORT LLC's Dispatch Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for efficiently managing a large driver board, ensuring on-time deliveries, and maintaining communication with various departments to guarantee smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Enter Bill of Lading information, ETAs, PTAs, and trailer numbers daily.
• Keep track of driver mileages and ensure expected miles are met.
• Manage driver schedules to meet delivery times and promptly report any delays.
• Conduct daily check calls with drivers and assist other dispatchers as required.
• Collaborate with Load Planners/Coordinators to optimize routes and split loads efficiently.
• Maintain professionalism and promote a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with McLeod database and manifest building.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
