Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Care Team Nurse to join Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc. In this role, you will be the clinical leader of the care team, responsible for providing direct care, managing high-risk patients, and ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate infection control measures, including standard precautions.
• Assess and address the physical, emotional, and socio-economic needs of clients and families.
• Provide urgent care, triage, and crisis management both in-office and via telephone.
• Document nursing care accurately using EMR.
• Coordinate communication between families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and perform in-office procedures efficiently.
• Engage in post-discharge follow-ups to prevent complications and readmissions.
• Maintain pediatric-focused continuing education.
• Adhere to practice policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Familiarity with EMR, Microsoft Office, and email.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current LPN or RN license in Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
