We are looking for a dedicated Care Team Nurse to join our innovative team at Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc. As a Care Team Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing clinical leadership and ensuring the smooth flow of operations while delivering high-quality care to our pediatric patients. Under the supervision of healthcare professionals, you will manage high-risk patients, offer education to families, provide direct care and laboratory services, and handle telephone and direct triage effectively.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in infection control protocols and age-appropriate pediatric care.
• Assess and address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients and families.
• Provide urgent in-office and telephone triage, utilizing the Electronic Medical Record system accurately.
• Facilitate communication among patients, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
• Administer vaccines, medications, and perform necessary procedures efficiently.
• Coordinate post-discharge care to prevent readmissions and complications.
• Maintain ongoing pediatric-focused education and training.
• Adhere to practice policies and procedures while meeting physical job demands.

Requirements

Other Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Understanding of handling sensitive medical information and HIPAA compliance.
• Proficient in EMR, Microsoft Office, and email communication.

Educational Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a current RN or LPN license in Massachusetts. BLS certification and CEUs are required.
