1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join the team at Aldi. As a valued member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing stock, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse standards to ensure optimal operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Contribute to warehouse cleanliness and safety by performing general cleaning duties.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes and quality control.
• Independently make decisions within your delegated responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 45 pounds and move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Engage in various physical activities such as bending, reaching, and operating equipment.
• Work in different temperature environments and operate powered industrial equipment.
