1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in efficiently fulfilling orders, relocating merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and contributing to inventory management. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and safety.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and within company procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently and in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare for deliveries.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
