1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $22.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for various duties such as receiving and selecting stock, organizing merchandise, loading shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety concerns.
• Operate equipment and adhere to safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate concerns for quality, safety, and product integrity.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.

• Work efficiently within company standards and procedures.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Perform various physical tasks in warehouse environments.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
