Job Description
We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this part-time role, you will ensure that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores, contributing to our commitment to providing high-quality service to our customers. You will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, following comprehensive training and safety guidelines to perform your duties effectively.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise within the warehouse according to handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness to meet safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
- Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.
- Perform tasks accurately and efficiently in compliance with company procedures.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
- Demonstrate conscientious behavior, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Physically capable of lifting, moving, and operating equipment in a warehouse environment.
