1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores for our growing customer base. This is a part-time position with an average of less than 30 hours per week, offering a starting wage of $23.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in taking inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect products for quality and safety concerns.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
