1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a Package Handler, you will play a critical role in efficiently fulfilling orders from stores, relocating merchandise within the warehouse, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse appearance standards. Your contributions will directly impact our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to enhance warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
