1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will work 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $20.75 - $26.75 per hour. The role involves various schedules, such as A1, A2, B, C, and D, each requiring different working days and off days.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise based on product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect and report product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientious, collaborative, positive, and resilient behavior.
• Organized, efficient, and compliant with company standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move items up to 45 pounds.
• Frequent movement in varying temperatures and working with powered equipment.
