1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at Aldi. As a valued member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for various tasks including stock selection, merchandise relocation, loading preparation, inventory counts, and overall warehouse maintenance. You will collaborate with colleagues and warehouse leadership to ensure effective warehouse processes while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving organizational goals.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and report any quality or sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment and perform tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.
• Follow ergonomic and safety procedures for job functions.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Demonstrated conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
• Physical agility for various warehouse tasks in different environments.
• Experience with powered industrial equipment is a plus.
