1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time role offers 30-35 hours per week with starting wages ranging from $18.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on shift schedules. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for selecting, receiving, relocating, sorting, loading, and unloading merchandise efficiently and according to guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Keep the warehouse clean and maintain safety standards.
• Participate in taking warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any concerns.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, cooperation, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate equipment.
