1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. The position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour based on shift and schedule differential pay. We are hiring for various schedules including Schedule D and Schedule B.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning and warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality and safety.
• Independently make decisions within your area of responsibility.
• Assist management in achieving goals.
• Operate equipment safely according to guidelines.

Job Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older. Act conscientiously, collaborate, demonstrate a positive attitude, drive for success, and organize efficiently. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and place products up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and work in varying temperatures. Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
