1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a critical role in efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the warehouse's cleanliness and orderliness. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and safety concerns.
• Operate equipment according to safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
