1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi, a leading retail company. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $18.50 - $24.50 per hour, based on the shift and schedule. As part of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Clean and maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect products for quality and safety compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and follow warehouse procedures.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum age required: 18 years.
• Conscientious, positive, and team-oriented work approach.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate equipment.
