1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated Part-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join the Aldi team. As a warehouse package handler, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores, ensuring that our customers receive quality goods. Our warehouse operations encompass ambient and temperature-controlled areas, and we provide thorough training and safety programs to equip our associates with the necessary skills for success.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Inspect products for quality and safety compliance.
• Operate equipment in adherence to safety guidelines.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a team environment.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds, operate industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
