1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the ALDI team. As a Stocker, you will play a crucial role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock incoming merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Organize and relocate products following warehouse guidelines.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring strategic arrangement of merchandise.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect products for quality and safety compliance.
• Work independently within set responsibilities and assist in achieving warehouse goals.
• Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines while operating equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficient organization and execution skills.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, bend, reach, push, pull, stand, and walk.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
