1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following proper guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues to management.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• Works well independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
• Work in varied temperatures and operate warehouse equipment.
