Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join Aldi's team. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with peers and leadership. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a dedication to achieving warehouse goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately for store orders.
• Relocate and organize merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
• Prepare merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse management.
• Act independently within delegated responsibilities to achieve warehouse goals.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.
• Follow warehouse procedures and communicate product quality and safety concerns.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds at various heights.
• Frequently move merchandise and prepare for deliveries.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
