1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the ALDI team. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to the overall success of the warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise as per guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to meet warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and suppliers.
• Provide feedback for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and adhere to safety regulations.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Act conscientiously, collaborate with the team, demonstrate a positive attitude, drive for success, and execute efficiently.
• Interpret company policies, communicate effectively, perform basic arithmetic, pay attention to detail, and work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and operate equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
