1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour based on shift and schedule differential pay. The 1st shift begins at 7:00 AM.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and suppliers.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving budget goals.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Handle merchandise and prepare for deliveries.
• Engage in various physical activities within the warehouse environment.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
