Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As part of the warehouse staff, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and select incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise following warehouse guidelines.
• Prepare shipments by strategically loading merchandise and unloading incoming deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to warehouse procedures.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to collaborate with a team and follow company policies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and effective communication abilities.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Perform tasks in varying temperatures and environments.
