1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our warehouse operations, you will play a key role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment, ensuring the efficient flow of products in our distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvement.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
• Inspect product quality and alert management to safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 45 pounds.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment is a plus.
