1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a member of our warehouse staff, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse standards for safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise effectively.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate with peers and leadership for continuous improvement.
• Provide feedback to enhance warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and safety standards.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Moving merchandise and preparing deliveries.
• Ability to perform various physical tasks in the warehouse environment.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
