1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for performing various duties including receiving and organizing stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with team members and leadership for efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and suggest process improvements.
• Interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and leadership.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare for deliveries.
• Engage in various physical activities in warehouse environment.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
