1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment and delivery to our stores.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and report issues.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientious behavior and commitment to quality.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment.

• Efficiently organize and execute tasks.
• Basic arithmetic and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 45 pounds and move merchandise.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
• Stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the warehouse.
