1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi. As a vital part of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for efficiently managing stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Receive and select incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Reposition merchandise following handling guidelines.
• Organize, load, and unload merchandise effectively.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and escalate issues to management.
• Operate equipment safely and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to collaborate, adapt, and drive for success.
• Efficient organization, execution, and compliance with standards.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate warehouse equipment.
• Flexibility to work in varying temperatures and environments.
