1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our warehouse operations at Aldi. Our team ensures that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores, catering to the needs of our growing customer base. As a part-time role with fewer than 30 hours per week, you will play a vital role in maintaining the operational flow within both ambient and temperature-controlled areas of our warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following handling guidelines to optimize warehouse space.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment preparations.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and warehouse leadership.
• Provide insights for process improvement to enhance overall warehouse efficiency.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and conscientiously.
• Positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficient organizational skills and compliance with standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products up to 45 pounds and operate industrial equipment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Capacity to work in varying temperatures and physically demanding conditions.
