2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As part of our warehouse operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth receiving, selecting, and delivery of products to our stores. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, with a starting wage of $25.75 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and cooperate effectively with colleagues and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to ergonomic guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Strong communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 45 pounds, bending, reaching, and carrying items throughout the warehouse.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
