2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at ALDI. As a Package Handler, you will work 30-35 hours per week and start at up to $22.75 - $28.75 per hour. You will handle incoming stock, relocate merchandise, load and unload shipments, maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety, and collaborate effectively with the warehouse team. Attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team, and adherence to company standards are crucial for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
• Perform general cleaning duties.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Effective communication with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve processes.
• Inspect product for quality and safety.
• Act independently within delegated responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines.
• Operate equipment safely and effectively.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Organizes and executes tasks efficiently.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Perform various physical tasks in changing environments.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
