2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. As a Package Handler, you will play a vital role in efficiently handling and organizing merchandise in the warehouse, ensuring timely order fulfillment and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Inspect products for quality and address any safety or sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues to management.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physical environments.
