Job Description

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to join ABF Freight, an exceptional company within the ArcBest organization. As a supervisor, you will play a crucial role in planning, supervising, and controlling resources for the timely and safe loading/unloading of freight, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for loading/unloading freight on assigned shifts.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, coordinate work assignments, and provide training and feedback to workers.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and promote the safe handling of materials.
• Support a values-driven culture focused on collaboration, integrity, and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with experience in service center or transportation.
• Supervisory experience and knowledge of freight handling techniques preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
