Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans. Your responsibilities will include identifying training opportunities to develop the team and contributing to improving operating results.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance operating results.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
- Identify training opportunities for team development.
- Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback for improvements.
- Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
- Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and minimize losses.
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
- Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior retail management experience preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
- Prior management experience preferred.
