Assistant Retail Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join Aldi's team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans. You will play a key role in training and developing the team while maintaining store cleanliness and merchandise presentation to maximize sales.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to enhance operating results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
• Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
• Maintain store standards and monitor competitive environment.
• Participate in the hiring process and provide product feedback.
• Ensure compliance with inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Operational and managerial skills.
