Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in supervising day-to-day store activities, ensure overall store performance, develop operational action plans, and identify training opportunities for team growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and share feedback for business improvement.
  • Participate in the interviewing process and ensure adherence to inventory procedures and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and product presentation.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations, providing the highest level of customer service.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring store security.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of budgeting, personnel costs, and management principles.
  • Prior retail management experience preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
