Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in supervising day-to-day store activities, ensure overall store performance, develop operational action plans, and identify training opportunities for team growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store operations.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment and share feedback for business improvement.
- Participate in the interviewing process and ensure adherence to inventory procedures and cash control policies.
- Maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and product presentation.
- Supervise day-to-day operations, providing the highest level of customer service.
- Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring store security.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Understanding of budgeting, personnel costs, and management principles.
- Prior retail management experience preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
- Prior management experience preferred.
