Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Supervisor to join the ALDI team. In this role, you will assist in managing store activities, overseeing performance, developing action plans, and providing training opportunities to support team growth. This is a full-time position averaging 38 hours per week with a starting wage of $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to enhance store performance.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities for team development.
• Monitor the competitive environment and recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
• Participate in the interviewing process and provide feedback on products.
• Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in retail management preferred.
• Operational understanding of budgeting and personnel costs.
• Knowledge of operating a cash register and equipment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience preferred.
