Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. This role involves assisting with day-to-day store management activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans. As an Assistant Retail Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading the team to provide exceptional customer service and achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
• Identify training and development opportunities for team members.
• Monitor the competitive environment and provide product feedback.
• Ensure inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies are adhered to.
• Maintain store cleanliness standards and proper stock levels.
• Supervise day-to-day operations, escalating issues when necessary.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in a retail environment, preferably in a management role.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive retail experience.
• Prior management experience preferred.
