Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Construction Cost Project Analyst to join the National Real Estate Services team at Aldi, one of the fastest-growing retailers in the nation. As a Construction Cost Project Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing construction costs on a national level, collaborating with divisional real estate teams to evaluate construction bids and ensure cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Construction Managers to develop negotiation points with contractors.
• Collaborate with divisional Director Real Estate and Construction Manager to determine appropriate scopes and pricing structures.
• Provide pricing data and practices to divisions for consistent pricing.
• Analyze bids, create detailed bid analysis reports, and guide project awards.
• Prepare quarterly reports to track pricing data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Review and approve contract pricing and conduct market pricing reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Construction Estimating.
• Strong understanding of construction documents and bid analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction cost estimation software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
