Duties and Responsibilities:

• Consistently demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, and stock shelves neatly
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to the store management team
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and other issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and monitor accuracy
• Follow cash policies, procedures, and company guidelines
• Comply with established company policies and procedures for document security and confidentiality
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

Ability to stock merchandise and place products on shelves weighing up to 45 pounds, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient and accurate cash register operation
• Safely operate equipment like electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
• Perform general cleaning duties
• Interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication skills
• Work independently and within a team environment
• Stay organized, pay attention to detail, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, work experience in retail environment preferred, a mix of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
